Psychology is the study of the behavior and mind of people all around the world. Everyone is different, but everyone learns and acts in different ways. Psychology is a newer science that is presented through observation of humans.
Psychology became my favorite class during my senior year in highschool; that's why I chose to take it again during my first year in college. Not only does psychology help students learn about the different conditions people are in, but it helps us, students learn how to adapt, get a better understanding, and help friends and family who are in need of help. In my psych class, I learned many things. I learned about the makeup of the brain and how each part works, different psychologists and their labs, long/short term memory, sleeping disorders, parenting styles, drugs and their effects and classical conditioning. This is my favorite class because you are not just learning about one thing. You learn about different kinds of things. You learn about yourself and other people's behaviors. You are not just sitting there doing math problems over and over, but learning about different behaviors and how the humans mind works.
